20th to 28th November 2012 – Pushkar Horse Fair at Pushkar, Near Ajmer, Rajasthan, India:- The Pushkar Fair, or Pushkar ka Mela, is the annual five-day horse and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is one of the world’s largest horse fairs, and apart from buying and selling of livestock it has become an important tourist attraction, and its highlights are the competition, which are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists.
27th to 30th October 2012 – Chetak Horse Show at Haldighati, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India :- A popular horse show , which displays the Marwari horse in dance performances on the plains of the historic Haldighati near Udaipur where many wars have been fought in the past. Haldighati is a mountain pass in the Aravali Range of Rajasthan in western India.
June 2012 – Formation of Association in State of Maharashtra, India: – The Maharashtra Chapter of Marwari Horse Society Of India is being formed and a meeting of all the Marwari horse owners of the State of Maharashtra is being organised to commence the registration of the Association and decide the activities for the rest of 2012.

10th to 13th May 2012 – Royal Windsor Horse Show, Windsor, UK. For the first time in the UK, the Marwari horses of India are being displayed in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Anniversary. Royal Windsor Horse Show is the largest outdoor equestrian Show in the UK, with over 3000 horses and ponies taking part in more than 164 jumping, showing, championship and carriage driving classes. The event has been running for over 65 years and takes place in Her Majesty The Queen’s private grounds at Windsor Castle.
Major International equestrian displays from the Pageant will also be taking part in the Horse Show during the day, offering visitors to the Horse Show the unique opportunity to see these displays, some of which have never been seen before in the UK.
